Shiraz- art of entertaining

Shiraz is a catering and special events company that does some impressive American Nouveau cuisine. They also seem to have an especially good looking staff :) It is certainly worth checking them out.

Mark Joseph Cakes

Mark is a very accomplished pastry chef who works with his lovely wife Leslie, whom I just met at the NY Mag Wedding Fair

They make absolutely gorgeous cakes, to which I am especially drawn as a photographer who loves and appreciates beautiful details. All couples should check out their site.

Personalized Bridal Styling

I met Allison and Moni at the NYC Wedding Salon Fair at the Roosevelt Hotel and thought their business was very cool.
They provide, among others things, Bridal Styling services. I know for some that can be a stressful thing to do on one’s own
so its nice to have the advice and creativity of affordable stylists.

Anyway, check out their site: Style Made Simple

Wedding Photobooths

A few couples have been asking me about Photobooths that they saw at a wedding, which are super fun.
You can check out NYC Photobooth.

Artistic Documentary Wedding Videographer

Bryan Sarkinen is an an excellent and artistic documentary videographer. He is also a very nice person!  I have worked with him many times and if you are looking for creative videography, you should definitely check out his site below.

Great Place for Wedding Invitations and Stationary

Couples interested in beautiful wedding invitations (save the date cards, bridal shower invitations, wedding stationery, thank you cards and everything else!) should definitely check out Double Happiness Creations and their blog.

Below is a blurb (and a very true one!) about their company:

As in nature, where no two snowflakes are alike, we believe that every couple and event is unique. Whether you’re looking for ways to honor cultural traditions or reinforcing a specific theme, we will work with you to ensure distinctive and memorable stationery for your special occasion! By appointment only.”
