My Bridal Fashion Guide for City Hall Wedding Dresses

Marriage is a sacred event in ones life that binds two people together. No matter big or small the day means something different for everyone. There is an exciting aspect to skipping the preparation of a big wedding and just declaring your love to each other in an intimate setting. As a wedding photographer I have photographed many City Hall weddings and each one is just as unique and special as an intricately planned venue wedding. In a City Hall wedding a bride can go for a less traditional dress without losing her elegance and grace.

Elizabeth Fillmore

“I love the “magical” aspect of a wedding gown, and the personal choice each bride makes…I design for the “Modern Romantic”…Individuality is so important to me and the look of each collection.” – Elizabeth Fillmore

Matthew Williamson

“Matthew Williamson has brought such joyful energy to the London fashion scene with his wonderful dragonflies, bright bubbly prints and unabashedly pretty clothes. He’s always been so clear about who he is – a designer who understands lifestyle as well as style, a follower in the footsteps of Celia Birtwell and Zandra Rhodes – and who his young, beautiful customer yearns to be. It’s been a real treat to watch his colourful career unfold.”
 – Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief, Vogue USA.

Delphine Manivet

“The dress should be a girl’s only make-up” These words define Delphine Manivet’s vision and her natural recent move from Bridal to Couture. When Delphine landed in bridal ten years ago she rewrote the rules with her youthful energy and her graceful modernity, making gowns for women who know fashion well and who consider their wedding as a continuity of something, not as a beginning. They want to be themselves, for sure, only prettier. That’s what Delphine Manivet like more than anything: making women beautiful.  Her collections, both bridal and evening wear, are representative of a timeless fashion, drawn from past inspirations and constantly reinterpreted depending on what she sees, hears or feels and what she thinks people would like to wear in the future. She makes that her present take on fashion.

Rebecca Schoneveld

The Rebecca Schoneveld Bride is a woman who loves to move freely, laugh easily, and love honestly. Rebecca’s designs are fueled by a sense of restrained romanticism and elegant minimalism, as well as by her modern Brooklyn clientele. Each gown is designed with timeless, intelligent details that deftly enhance a woman’s natural beauty, with a conscious effort made to not overwhelm the wearer with too much “fashion” but rather to allow her personality to fully shine.
