Just last May I shot Dana and Matt’s Engagement Session in Tribeca and at the Brooklyn Bride, and suddenly the summer passed by, and we had arrived to October and their wedding at Bridgewaters. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful 200 year old St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral on Mulberry Street, which was built as the city’s first Cathedral Church down in the the Heart of Old New York. I love a ceremony in a Church which is imbued with history and played such an important part in the fabric of the City.
Christine Viola of Exquisite Affairs Productions did a marvelous job of planning the day, which started at the Gild Hall Hotel for Preparation.
Christine certainly helped set the tone with her relaxed easy going personality and style (which makes my job so much easier :) ). I highly recommend her.
I am always telling my brides when I review their timelines to get a nice hanger for photographing the wedding dress. I was especially delighted this time to see that Dana’s sister Anne bought a super cool, artistic hanger on Etsy.com that spelled out Dana’s and Matt’s names. Anne, who is an art teacher, designed some of the jewelry at the wedding and I am very excited to be photographing her upcoming wedding as well.
