Adam and Dale were married in Connecticut and will celebrate their wedding with close family and friends at Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
We shot their engagement session in the Meatpacking district and the Highline with their cute dog Simon and continued later at Central Park. Normally, I start my posts with the story of how the couple first met. This time, however, I must begin naturally with how Adam and Dale met Simon. Simon came from a breeder, one of a litter of nine dogs. Adam and Dale immediately knew that Simon was “the one” when at their first meeting, he made a pee on Adam. Since then they shower him with love and affection.
The charming and entertaining Jason, Adam’s and Dale’s friend, thoughtfully tagged along on the shoot to monitor Simon, when Adam and Dale needed some shots alone. Somehow Simon also attracted a friend of the exact same breed,
Sasha, who purely by coincidence befriended Simon on the shoot. I guess Simon was a bit jealous and also wanted an engagement session :)
It is clear from the photos, from the shared intimacy of their expressions, that Adam and Dale possess a meaningful and deep relationship and will make wonderful partners in life together.
