Jennifer & Vinny

I could really appreciate the special bond that Jennifer and Vinny share. They have been together for 6 years, which exactly matched the amount of time I was with my husband before we got married. The qualities that such a long term relationship nurture- deep love, friendship and an ease with eachother- were very obvious between them. It’s not just the heartfelt and adoring looks, but it’s the way Jennifer was willing to toss her heels off with careless abandon, walk barefoot (and even sit) on the streets, climb rocks, and have Vinny alongside her as a very willing participant.

We scheduled our shoot in Brooklyn on the Promenade, between Montague and Middagh street. It was, despite the late afternoon,
too bright to shoot there, and we improvised and made our way to more suitable spots near the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Jennifer is obviously super excited about the wedding and into everything bridal. I met her, after all, scouting vendors at the NY Magazine Fair and she was the first to excitedly tell me that my spread in Brides hit the newstand, of which even I was unaware.
I am sure that enthusiasm will make for a spectacular wedding next July 16 at the Tribeca Rooftop. She has already given me some details such as a 15 piece band that will be playing. I am sure, with their Italian and Greek heritage, that the dancefloor is going to be wild.

Jen sent me a beautiful email after she saw the post:  “First – I just want to thank you again for such a great day!  The photos are so beautiful.  Our parents couldn’t believe how amazing they were and they can’t even imagine how great the wedding photos will be.  Our friends also gave so many compliments – they felt your eye was amazing and you really captured everything so beautifully.  I really think that of all of the choices we have made for our wedding, having you as our photographer is one of the best!”
