I feel like I just finished shooting Pamela and Paul’s engagement session, when suddenly their wedding snuck up on me. Needless to say, it was a fun and seamless continuation to witness them now get married at Fiddler’s Elbow.
Here is a sneak peak of some of their photos, though I have only started the long editing process. I especially love the naturalistic feel of the shot of them beneath the birdhouse- what better place could there be for two new love birds :) I also like how that is juxtaposed next to a series of more photojournalistic shots of Pam and her Father. Those three shots of their special dance capture the full panorama of overwhelming emotion, a cycle from tears of joy to exuberant happiness. And of course hats of to the hats!, which I understand, is the English and Welsh fashion, now successfully transplanted by Paul’s sister and friend to New Jersey! It was a terrific touch of lighthearted whimsy and daring to alleviate the intensity of a wedding.
I was especially delighted to learn that Julie Laudicina was the officiant. I last saw her at Colleen & Zach’s wedding and she truly added a wonderful spirit and energy to the ceremony. And of course, the very talented harpist Violetta Norrie, contributed greatly to the angelic atmosphere as well.
